I'm a Junior in college studying Instrumental and Vocal Music Education, with a primary on trumpet and an intended Jazz minor. My passion lies in Marching Band/Drum Corps, Jazz, and worship music, but I understand the importance of teaching all disciplines and all musical concepts. Day 1! - July 16, 2012
- I play trumpet primarily (10 years running), with a declared secondary in voice (lessons 3 years). I can play guitar (2yrs) and ukulele (1yr) pretty well, and I have enough experience on low brass (varies) to get by in the average ensemble. I used to take lessons on piano, but I don’t play too seriously anymore. I took 5 years total of piano lessons, but I’ve been playing since I was about 9 y/o.
Day 2! - July 17, 2012
- My all-time favorite instruments definitely have to be french horn, piano, and oboe. I love the sound of most connical instruments… so a good euphonium, flugelhorn, or cornet sound is the bees knees.
